Our certified technicians perform a thorough 25-point inspection and adjustment of your entire overhead door system.
1. Hardware Tightening & Inspection
The vibration of the door can loosen bolts and screws over time. We inspect and tighten all roller brackets, hinges, and track supports. We also check the vertical and horizontal tracks for alignment and wear.
2. Lubrication of Moving Parts
Dry metal grinds against dry metal, causing that annoying squeaking noise. We apply professional-grade lithium-based lubricant (never grease, which attracts dirt) to the rollers, hinges, and springs to ensure whisper-quiet operation.
3. Spring Tension & Balance Test
A balanced door should lift easily with one hand. If your door feels heavy or slams shut, your torsion springs may need adjustment. We calibrate the spring tension to reduce strain on your opener motor.
4. Safety Reverse System Check
For the safety of your family and pets, we test the auto-reverse mechanism. We ensure the photo-eye sensors are aligned and clean, and that the door automatically reverses if it encounters an obstruction.
5. Roller & Cable Examination
We check for frayed lift cables (a major safety hazard) and inspect rollers for flat spots or cracked wheels. If parts are near the end of their lifecycle, we will let you know.
